melonDS for OpenPak (DS)

A fork of melonDS with a Nintendo WFC redirect to OpenPak, cloud saves for .sav files and the shared OpenPak menu.

Status

Not ready yet. Not run against a game. This fork is transitional: a successor is planned, and no build is advertised from it until then.

Downloads

• Release: github.com/openpak/melonds/releases/latest, once a tagged release exists.
• Nightly: the rolling nightly pre-release, rebuilt when the source changes. It is untested: use it to follow progress, not to play.

Sign in to OpenPak

1. Sign in from the OpenPak menu (left of Help).
2. Turn on Connect Nintendo WFC to OpenPak in the Wi-Fi settings.

You supply your own ROMs, and for firmware boot, the firmware and BIOS from a DS you own.

Known limits

• Untested against any game.
• The fork retires once its successor lands.
